Rhyming Words

Rhyming words end with the same sound. Cat, hat, mat, bat — they all rhyme!

Star, car, far, jar. Listen to the end: "-ar" sound makes them rhyme.

Songs and poems use rhymes to sound nice. Twinkle, twinkle, little star... how I wonder what you are.

Tip: cover your ears and say the words. If the ends sound the same, they rhyme!
