A STRAIGHT line goes from one point to another without bending.

A CURVED line bends smoothly, like a rainbow or a smile.

A ZIGZAG line has sharp corners, like lightning or mountains.

A WAVY line goes up and down gently, like waves on water.

Artists use different lines to show feelings: zigzag for energy, curves for calm.
