Medium paywall bypass · Multi-source · Reader · Markdown · 100% client-side
HTML Content Extractor
Read member-only Medium articles without a subscription — the web successor of the original HTML-Content-Extractor (the Google-Cache trick, retired when Google dropped web cache in 2024). One click tries six sources in order: Medium JSON API → page state → RSS feed → Freedium → Wayback Machine → r.jina.ai, then shows the full article in a clean reader view with Markdown, plain text and clean HTML export. Non-Medium pages work too via paste / generic fetch.
Source
The bypass chain fetches through free public CORS relays (allorigins → codetabs) and public readers — no login, nothing stored. If every automatic source fails, one-click external services appear below.

Paste mode applies site-specific rules per platform, then falls back to the Firefox Reader View algorithm (Mozilla Readability) — whichever extracts more text wins.
Everything runs locally in your browser. No article is ever uploaded anywhere.

Paste a Medium URL and hit Bypass paywall & read — or paste raw HTML for any other site. Full reader view, Markdown, plain text, clean HTML, images and links. Nothing leaves your browser.
Modern successor of bayhaqy/HTML-Content-Extractor — as written up in “Tips Mengatasi Paywall di Medium”. The old Google-Cache source is retired; this version uses six live sources.

Or open the article in your browser, press Ctrl+U (view source) → select all → copy → switch to the Paste HTML tab. The saved source often contains the full text even when the page blurs it.
